The GSA Earth Sciences Student Symposium (GESSS) is a conference for students, by students. Our mission is to unite Earth science students from across New South Wales while giving them a platform to present their original science. Since conferences are an excellent avenue to broadcast findings and establish relationships with peers, we hope that GESSS 2019 will help foster our budding community of up-and-coming Earth scientists in New South Wales.

GESSS-NSW is unique in that we want to facilitate all research related to Earth science, and therefore encourage all possible participants. We see GESSS-NSW as a stepping stone to the interdisciplinary future of geoscience, where students can forge collaborations and gain experience presenting their work.
